Occasionally we come across a few transport companies that provide the bare minimum when it comes to run tickets. 🧵😬
To help assist you and your Pumpers with these types of tickets, we've created a new feature that back-calculates your closing gauge for you. This setting can be found under Settings > Company > ⚙️ Settings.
If you'd like to take advantage of this feature, simply toggle to 'Yes' for Calculate Closing Gauges and hit 'Save' at the top of Company Settings.
Once you have those changes saved, your closing gauges will now be autocalculated for your pumpers in the field.
All that's required on behalf of your Pumpers is to simply (1) verify the opening gauge, and (2) enter your gross barrels...🛢️
Let's take a look-see: 👓
Open your selected Battery
Open the oil tank
Click the '+' button and select 'Run Ticket' or 'Hot Oil Ticket'
Select date and time
Enter ticket number
Select Transport Company
Adjust opening gauge (if required)
Enter Gross and Corrected Barrels as shown on the ticket
Hit Save!
And that's it... the closing gauge will automatically adjust for you and your Pumper as soon as you enter gross barrels!
Now, no need for Pumpers to guess-timate or switch back and forth between their GreaseBook and calculator! 📳
