1. How to Generate an API Key in GreenCast Connect
Open the web dashboard: app.greencastconnect.com
Select the Organization Settings icon (bottom-left corner).
Go to API Key.
If no key is visible, click Generate API Key.
Click Copy to copy your key to your clipboard.
You can now paste this API key into:
Greenkeeper App
Playbooks
Other approved integrations that require your organization’s data access
2. What the API Key Does
Your API key allows external tools to securely access:
Sensor measurements
Location/site data
Weather insights
GreenCast Connect device information
It acts like a “digital password” that authorizes your organization’s data to flow into supported apps.
