On Greenly's platform, the building module enables organizations to fill all relevant information about the buildings that are under their financial or operational control.
At the top, the user is asked to select the Electricity Grid:
An electrical grid is a vast network that transports electricity from power stations to consumers, spanning different sizes, from local distribution to entire countries or continents, and featuring power stations, substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems to ensure efficient energy delivery.
Some countries (like France for instance) have only a unique electricity grid, while others (like the United States, see the following screenshot) have plenty:
To find the electricity grid your building is using, please follow those steps:
Go to ElectricityMaps website:
On the map, click on your building's location
The electricity grid code will appear in the URL, at the top, just after the "/zone/". In this example, it's "IT-NO" because it's the North Italy grid:
