Vehicle categories

You will be asked in the module to enter your vehicles by specifying the categories they fall in. You can find below a definition of all the car categories we ask for:

SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle)

A vehicle that combines elements of road-going passenger cars with features from off-road vehicles, like a high ground clearance and four-wheel drive. SUVs vary in size from compact to full-size, and they often offer a higher seating position, two or three rows of seating, and significant cargo space.

Minivan

Characterized by its boxy shape to maximize interior volume, equipped with sliding side doors for easy access, and designed with a focus on passenger comfort. Minivans are primarily front-wheel drive and are known for their flexible seating arrangements, accommodating up to 8 or 9 passengers, making them ideal for family use.

City Car

A compact and lightweight vehicle designed for ease of maneuverability and efficient operation in urban environments. City cars have smaller engines and are optimized for fuel efficiency and ease of parking, typically seating up to four passengers. They are equipped with features suited for city driving, such as start-stop technology.

Utility Vehicle

Vehicles designed for specific industrial, commercial, or off-road tasks, rather than for general passenger transport. This category includes a wide range of vehicle types, from pickup trucks and vans designed for cargo transport to specialized vehicles equipped for specific functions like towing, emergency services, or off-road use.

Sedan

A passenger car in a three-box configuration with separate compartments for the engine, passengers, and cargo in the rear. Sedans come in various sizes, including compact, mid-size, and full-size, and are designed to comfortably seat four to five passengers. They offer a range of drivetrain options and are focused on passenger comfort and ride quality.
