Overview
You can keep your bid data updated by manually entering bids that were issued through a phone call, log board posting, or other correspondence with a carrier.
There are two ways to manually log a carrier bid in Greenscreens. You can add a bid from the lane request, or you can add a bid from the Bids tab.
Add a Carrier Bid from the Lane Request
Enter your lane details and click Get Rate.
Click either:
The + button next to Request Bid under the Target Buy Rate:
+ Add Bid in the Recent Bids widget:
In the Add Bid window, fill in the bid details. Carrier, Bid, Equipment Type, and Pick Up and Drop Off locations are all required. The remaining fields are optional:
Click Add.

Go to the Bids tab:
Under Bids, click Add Bid:
In the Add Bid window, fill in the bid details. Carrier, Bid, Equipment Type, and Pick Up and Drop Off locations are all required. The remaining fields are optional:
Click Add.

The new bid will appear on the Bids tab with a status of Received.
