Overview
The Short Term History widget provides you with recent historical data relevant to the current rate prediction. This gives you a general idea of the state of the market and lets you verify predictions by comparing them to recently booked loads.
Using the Short Term History Widget
The upper part of this widget shows relevant short term historical data for the last 7, 15 and 30 days. The large text in this section represents the average rate for the lane in this time period:
By default, the widget shows your historical data for the 5-digit ZIP codes in the current prediction. For a wider view, select 3-digit ZIP or Mkt on the upper right to see your history for the 3-digit ZIP codes in the prediction or for the general market areas. A green dot on the toggle tells you that there is data available at that geographical level:
The dots on the graph represent actual loads. The bigger and bolder the dot, the more activity the area has seen. Hovering over the dot will bring up a summary of load activity including date, average rate, and number of loads:
