View Previous 4-Week Rates: Analyze rate trends over the past month to gauge market movements.
Examine the Three-Year Trend: Get a broader perspective on rate fluctuations and patterns over the past three years.
Check the Current Rate: Access up-to-the-day rates for informed decision-making.
This integration is designed to empower users with comprehensive rate data directly within their workflow, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of freight pricing decisions.
Important Considerations
Truckstop API Customer Requirement: Ensure that you are also a customer of the Truckstop Rates API, as this is a prerequisite for enabling the integration.
API Limits and Overages: Truckstop has API limitations and overage charges for each of their customers. Please consider this when enabling this integration. GS hits the Truckstop endpoint multiple times per rate request, so know that this will increase your API calls and could put you over your limit, causing overages. Speak with your Truckstop AM to manage this effectively. By enabling the feature, you are agreeing that Greenscreens is not liable for any overage charges to Truckstop.
Authentication Tokens: It is crucial to consult with your Truckstop Account Manager (AM) to ensure that your authentication tokens are current and properly configured. This step is vital for a seamless integration experience.
Lane Length Limitation: Please be aware that the historical graph feature does not support lanes less than 250 miles in length. However, you will still receive current booked rates for these shorter lanes.
