When is my payment considered late?

Your payment is considered late when it is not paid by the due date. However, late charges are not assessed until after the end of the “grace period,” which is always the same specific number of days past your installment due date and is also stated in your Note, subject to state law restrictions. We may begin to try to contact you by telephone about a late payment any time after the payment has not been paid on the installment due date.
