How can I terminate my escrow account?

Steps and requirements to close your escrow account

You become eligible to terminate your escrow account when you are able to satisfy the following requirements:

  1. You have made twelve (12) consecutive timely monthly payments, and

  2. Your account is current, and

  3. No escrow payments are scheduled over the next 30 days, and

  4. Your escrow account has positive balance, and

  5. There is no active mortgage insurance coverage (private mortgage insurance [PMI] or FHA mortgage insurance [MIP]) on your loan. PMI or MIP must have terminated (if eligible) before Gregory Funding can close your escrow account.

If your account meets all the above requirements, you may submit a written request for termination of escrow using one of the following methods:

When will Gregory process my request to close my escrow account?

Gregory will respond to your request within 30 days of receipt.
