Setting Up Payouts as a Non-U.S. Resident

In order to receive payouts from the brands you work with, you need to submit your payout information on your Live Site. This includes:

  • Your payout method (Bank Transfer / ACH)

  • If your brand is paying you through GRIN, a valid tax form (W-8BEN) for non-U.S. residents

(if you’re based in the U.S., see Setting Up Payouts as a U.S. Resident)

Important

A W-8BEN is considered valid if all the information you provide—such as your name, address, and taxpayer identification number (e.g., FTIN)—matches what is on file with the IRS or your local tax authority.

If any information is incorrect:

  • GRIN will notify you via email that your tax form is invalid

  • You will have 30 days to correct it

  • Otherwise, you may be subject to backup tax withholding

For more details, see Yearly Income Tax Forms FAQ.

Payout Requirements

To receive payments through GRIN:

  • You must set up a Bank Transfer (ACH) payout method

  • You must submit a W-8BEN tax form

If you do not complete both:

  • Payments sent by brands may be refunded after 30 days

  • You will not be able to receive payouts

Be sure to complete your payout setup as soon as possible.

What You’ll Need

  • A verified Live Site account

    (see Verifying Your Account)

  • A bank account that supports USD (U.S. Dollar) payments

Important Notes

  • Your bank account must be able to receive USD transfers

  • The account holder name must match your tax form

  • The Tax ID must belong to the account holder

If these do not match, payments may be delayed or returned.
