Recently, LinkedIn has been actively limiting the number of connection requests - even for profiles that send only 10-20 invites per week.

If you’ve received a notification saying that you’ve reached your weekly invitation limit, here’s what you can do:

  1. Enter the email address associated with your LinkedIn profile where the issue occurred

  2. Write a support message in English (example below)

Example message:

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Rewrite this message yourself or use AI to rephrase it. This helps avoid sending identical template messages - which increases your chances of getting the limit restored.

Hi,

I recently received a notification that I’ve reached my weekly limit for sending connection requests. However, I’ve only sent around {{number of invites you sent this week}} invites this week - far fewer than usual.
I used to be able to send many more requests without any issues.

Could you please clarify what my current connection limit is, why it suddenly dropped, and if there’s a way to restore it to previous levels?

Thank you in advance for your help!

You’ll likely receive a standard automated reply from a bot - but there’s still a 50/50 chance that your connection limit will quietly increase afterward.

There’s no point continuing the conversation, because LinkedIn officially does not disclose current account limits, reasons for restrictions or methods for increasing limits. However, it’s still worth asking about your limit in the first message, as this can sometimes trigger a manual review or limit adjustment by support.
