Configure your payments with Stripe

Set up Stripe to receive payments from club shops.

Written by Manon Carneiro

To receive payments from customers who buy through your club shops, you need to configure a payment account via Stripe, our secure payment partner.

What is Stripe?

Stripe is an online payment platform used by millions of businesses worldwide. It handles collecting customer payments and transferring funds to your bank account. You don't need an existing Stripe account — everything is created automatically for you.

How does it work?

  1. Click Configure my payments with Stripe.

  2. You'll be redirected to the Stripe website where you'll need to verify your identity (ID document), enter your company details, and add your bank details (IBAN).

  3. Once done, you'll automatically return to Grinta.

💡 Prepare in advance: a photo ID, a company document (Kbis or equivalent), and your bank details. This usually takes 5–10 minutes.

FAQs

Can I set up my shop before verification is complete?

Yes. You can finalise all other configuration steps while waiting for Stripe verification.

Why does Stripe ask for identity documents?

This is a regulatory requirement (KYC — Know Your Customer) imposed on all payment platforms. It allows Stripe to confirm the identity of individuals and businesses receiving funds.

Can I skip this step?

Your shops can accept orders, but you won't be able to receive payments until Stripe is configured. You can return to this step at any time.
