Understanding the different profiles and environments

Who can do what on Grinta? This guide covers the 4 user profiles and their 4 associated workspaces.

Written by Manon Carneiro

On your platform, every user gets access tailored to their role. Understanding these profiles prevents confusion and makes onboarding your team much smoother.

The 4 main profiles

  • Distributor — account holder, manages all activity from the distributor space

  • Sales rep — manages a portfolio of clubs from the sales rep space

  • Logistics operator — processes and ships orders from the dedicated app

  • Club admin — manages their club's shop from the club space

Profiles in detail

Distributor

Who? Typically the person in charge of the structure — the one who represents the company or brand as the Grinta account holder.

The Distributor has full visibility over the entire account. They can do everything a sales rep can do, plus they control additional settings.

They can:

  • Configure global account settings (brands, discounts, commercial terms)

  • Create and manage team members (sales reps, fulfillment operators)

  • Access all shops, regardless of which sales rep is assigned

  • Track revenue and global billing

Where? In the distributor space, accessible at: partners.grinta.eu/teamwear_retailers/sign_in

Sales rep

Who? A member of your team who manages a portfolio of clubs.

Tip: The sales rep logs into Grinta via a different URL than the distributor. They don't have access to global account settings — they only manage the shops in their portfolio.

They can:

  • Create shops for their clubs

  • Configure each shop's settings (products, discounts, delivery…)

  • Track sales and performance across their shops

They do not see:

  • Global distributor account settings

  • Shops assigned to other sales reps

  • Global revenue and billing

  • Team management

Where? In the sales rep space, accessible at: partners.grinta.eu/teamwear_sales_representatives/sign_in

Logistics operator

Who? A person responsible for processing and shipping orders.

They can:

  • View orders to be processed

  • Manage picking and shipping

  • Update order statuses

They do not see:

  • Commercial data (revenue, margins)

  • Shop settings

  • Distributor account configuration

Where? In the logistics app (dedicated interface).

Club admin

Who? The person designated by the club to manage its shop.

They can:

  • Manage their club's profile

  • View orders and sales for their shop

  • Access the club's cashback balance

  • Create vouchers

Where? In the club space, accessible at: https://app.grinta.eu/users/sign_in

FAQs

What's the difference between the Distributor and a Sales rep?

The Distributor is the account holder. They access Grinta via a dedicated URL and have full visibility: global settings, all shops, team management, revenue and billing. A Sales rep logs in via a different URL and only sees the shops in their portfolio — with no access to account settings or other sales reps' data.

How do I switch between the sales rep space and the club space?

When you open a shop from the sales rep space by clicking Club dashboard, you're temporarily logged into the club space. To return to your sales rep space, click Exit session at the bottom of the red banner. Or log out of the club space and sign back in with your usual credentials.

Can a sales rep also manage logistics?

Yes, many sales reps also have logistics access. The navigation gateway lets them switch between spaces without logging out. Even if they don't prepare orders themselves, this access gives them a quick overview of order status across their partner clubs.
