Issues with Carbon Klean / Peeps

Thank you so much for reaching out about your order with the brand Carbon Klean and the product, Peeps. We're truly sorry you’re having to chase it down.

We’ve been closely monitoring this Maker and it does appear they’re experiencing a severe fulfilment backlog. Many shoppers, like you, have not been receiving their orders as expected.

Our team has made multiple attempts to get in touch with brand about these delays, but unfortunately they’ve been unresponsive so far.

Because orders with this product are processed and fulfilled directly by the Maker (not by Grommet), we don’t have access to your payment details or order records, and we’re not able to issue refunds on their behalf. Refunds are at the sole discretion of the brand.

Here’s what we have done on our end:

  • We’ve notified our payment gateway partners about the situation so they can prepare any necessary escalation steps.

  • We’ve also made the decision to stop featuring this product on Grommet. This is not how we expect our Makers to take care of shoppers, and we take that very seriously.

In the meantime, if you’re unable to get a response directly from CarbonKlean about the status of your order, we strongly recommend contacting your bank or card issuer to file a chargeback or dispute. They’ll be able to review your transaction and advise on next steps.
