Here at Grommet – we take pride in being the place where you can discover the latest and greatest products that you won't find anywhere else! Our mission of innovation has always been at the heart of what we do, and it's why millions of shoppers trust us and small businesses want to launch their products on Grommet.

But you know what makes Grommet really special and unique?

It's YOU – our amazing community of makers and shoppers who make Grommet truly one-of-a-kind! Together, we can keep pushing innovative products and unique ideas to the forefront, and continue to make Grommet the go-to destination for all things new and exciting.

To continue to do that, we have a few rules when sharing your products, engaging in discussions, voting, and leaving reviews on Grommet.

We encourage you to:

  • Be inclusive. Everyone should feel welcomed and encouraged to join and participate in the Grommet community.

  • Support. Upvote to support the products you genuinely find interesting and purchase the ones you like directly from makers.

  • Engage. Ask helpful questions, participate in discussions, and leave honest reviews.

  • Share. To help Makers succeed, share the products you find interesting with your friends, family and colleagues.

  • Communicate honestly. Makers, represent your product and business details honestly and transparently to shoppers. Shoppers, provide accurate and honest information regarding any product or order concerns.

We do not allow:

  • Discriminatory behavior, hate speech or offensive language. This includes posting offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content, including hate speech, threats, or harassment.

  • Spam. This includes any attempt to clutter or derail authentic conversation, such as unsolicited advertisements, trolling, and excessive message flooding. We do not allow self-promotion without prior approval from the Grommet team.

  • Inauthentic voting. This includes eliciting inauthentic upvotes for a product on Grommet, the of use bots, or engaging in any other behavior that manipulates the voting system for personal gain or to harm others.

  • Misrepresenting yourself or your products. You cannot share false or misleading information about your products, team, or other community members. You also cannot create accounts using fake names or other details.

What happens if someone violates the Community Guidelines?

We take action based on the severity of the violation. Knowingly and repeatedly violating these guidelines can also escalate the action we take, which can include:

  • Sending a warning by email

  • Comment removal

  • Temporary or permanent restrictions on an account, including removing a Maker’s product(s) from being featured on Grommet

As the Grommet community grows we may need to evaluate and update these guidelines.

Thanks for being a part of Grommet’s community!
