Selecting single or multiple items on plans with the select tool

The Select Tool is used to select single or multiple items on a Plan to relocate, Duplicate, Rotate, Flip or Transfer to other Measurements or Delete.

Group Select

Select a group of items like Counts, Lengths, Areas and annotations, so you can move them or apply an action. Hidden measurements and stages are not included.

  1. Press ESC to enter Select Mode

  2. Hold Shift and click and release with the mouse

    The screen will turn grey, move the mouse to the opposite corner of the area to Select

  3. Click and release in the opposite corner

    • Optional functions:

      • Click, hold, and drag to the desired position

      • Perform an Action

      • To Unselect an incorrect item, hold CTRL / Command ⌘ and click the item

  4. Click Save or press ESC

Click Select

Click Select allows the selection of multiple individual items to be relocated or to perform an action. This selection can include Counts, Lengths, Areas and annotations.

  1. Press ESC to enter Select Mode, zoom in on the items to Select

  2. Click to Select an item

  3. Hold CTRL / Command ⌘ and click on additonal items

    • Optional functions:

      • Click, hold, and drag to the desired position

      • Perform an Action

      • To Unselect an incorrect item, hold CTRL / Command ⌘ and click the item

  4. Click Save or press ESC
