Sometimes creators don’t have access to their TikTok email or encounter difficulties with the standard integration. The advanced option allows you to connect your TikTok account by adding a unique code to your bio temporarily, ensuring secure account verification.
Steps to Connect Your TikTok Account:
Navigate to the Advanced Settings
Go to the Settings section on your dashboard and click on the Socials tab.
Under the advanced section, select Add TikTok through Code in Bio.
Enter Your TikTok Username
A prompt will appear asking you to enter your TikTok username. Type in your username accurately and click Generate to proceed.
Receive Your Unique Code
Once you generate the code, Growi will provide you with a unique identifier. This is the code you’ll need to add to your TikTok bio.
Add the Code to Your TikTok Bio
Open your TikTok app and navigate to your profile.
Tap Edit Profile and paste the unique identifier provided by Growi into your bio.
Save the changes.
Verify the Connection
Return to Growi and click Verify in the same advanced settings window. Growi will confirm that the account is linked successfully.
Once verified, you’ll see a confirmation message on your dashboard.
Remove the Code from Your Bio
After the verification is complete, you can go back to TikTok and remove the unique identifier from your bio. Your account will remain connected to Growi.
