Folders enable you to make and optimize multiple routes under one driver or categorize tasks by date/region so that you never have to struggle over organizing your tasks again!
Here are some key facts about folders:
You can optimize the whole folder itself without affecting any tasks assigned to the assignee that are not within the folder.
The folder can be hidden from the driver's view. You can create tasks and plan the route without the driver seeing the changes. Once everything is organized, you can activate the folder for the assignees to see.
The folder can be set to disappear after completion.
Everything also works with the API integration.
Folders can be made under the Unassigned folder.
Multiple folders can be under a Worker and the Unassigned folder.
Here is how to create a folder:
To create a folder right click on a driver name or the unassigned folder and select “Create Route”.
Then fill out the form that appears.
📌 You can set the default optimization settings so when you optimize tasks within said folder those values auto-fill!
Here is an example of how to set up your routes for this week’s tasks:
You can decide whether the driver sees the routes or not. To hide a folder from the driver right click on the folder and "Convert to draft", when you want the driver to see the folder again right click on the folder and click "Activate route".
This way you can easily plan without confusing the drivers and let them see your plans once they are done!

As you can see, there is no “Wednesday” folder as in the dashboard it was made into a draft.
Routes can be made under the unassigned folder, and when optimizing you can choose the drivers you wish to take part of the route and the system will create the most optimal routes depending on what you optimize for. To learn more about optimization click here.
