Reviewing Share Requests

Updated over 3 months ago

When users make requests to have a share extended or to share an interview on with another user, the custodian of that interview will be able to approve, modify, or decline each request as it comes through.

When a request is made, the custodian will get an email from no-reply@mail.guardify.com that says "new request received" with a link inside to log into Guardify.

From there, the custodian can log into Guardify and access their requests by clicking the "Messages" tab in the left hand navigation menu. New requests will be noted by a number in a red bubble.

From the Messages page, click the "requests" tab

Each request will be listed here with the name of the person who is making the request, and a brief summary of what they are requesting. Clicking on the request will give you more details about the request, as well as buttons to "approve" "decline" or "edit" the request.

Approve: this will approve the user's request as-is. On interview share requests, the features listed under "permissions" will be what that user will be able to view when a share interview request is approved.

Decline: this will decline the request and the user will not get the access that was requested.

Edit: this will allow you as the custodian to modify the expiration date or share permissions for that request.

Once a request is approved, declined, or edited, the requesting user will be notified by email. On interview share requests, the new user that was given access to the interview will be notified that they now have access to an interview, but they will not be notified if a request was declined on their behalf.
