Spanish language videos that are uploaded into Guardify will automatically have a Spanish language transcript available once a transcript is requested. Please see our article on video transcripts for more information on transcribing an interview.
In addition to the Spanish transcript, any new interviews created with the interview language set to “Spanish” from the drop-down list on the interview creation page will automatically translate a second English transcript when the initial transcript is requested.
When a transcript is generated for an interview with Spanish selected as the interview Language, users will have the option of viewing the original Spanish transcript, as well as the translated transcript from Spanish to English. These options can be accessed by clicking the 3-dot menu on the video and selecting "View/Edit Transcript."
At the bottom of the transcript, there will be a "Version" drop-down box where users can choose between the two transcripts.
Both the Spanish transcript and the English translation can be downloaded out of Guardify.
