Custom Interview Share Duration

Updated over 3 months ago

When you share an interview in Guardify, the start and end date of that share will come autofilled in with your account's default share duration is set to. However, you have the option to choose a new start and end date for each individual share, as well as the time that you'd like the share to start and end.

To change the start and end date for your share, click the calendar icon beside the default date and choose whatever date you'd like. There is no limit to how far out in the future you set these dates.

Once you have set the access start and expiration date for an interview share, you can then choose the time that you would like that share to start and expire. To set the start and end time when you share an interview, click on the clock icon in the "Access Starts" and "Access Expires" columns on the share access screen.

Clicking on the clock icon will allow you to select a specific time, in intervals of 30 minutes, that you would like access to start or end.

Once you've selected a time, the grey clock icon will turn purple, letting you know a time has been selected. Hovering over the purple clock icon will display the time that was selected.

To change a selected time or clear it back out to the default setting, click the purple clock icon again and select "edit" or "clear."

If you do not select a time, the clock will remain grey, indicating that the default time will apply.

The default start time for a share will either be immediately if you choose to give them same-day access, or 12:00am (midnight) on the day that the share is scheduled to start in the future. The default expiration time for shares is 11:59pm of the expiration date in the share, local time.

If you do not want to use time-specific sharing, the License Manager can turn this setting off in the account settings. This can be done by clicking the 3-dot menu in the top right corner of the page, and selecting "Account Settings."

Scroll down near the bottom of the list of account settings, and switch off the toggle next to "Time-specific Share Access."
