Pro: Grayscale Mode

Updated over 3 months ago

We understand that certain sensitive photos are better viewed in black and white unless absolutely necessary, as to reduce over exposure to harsh imagery. Guardify has the option to view thumbnails as well as the full photos in grayscale mode, which can be easily toggled on and off as needed.

When you are viewing a case, all of the thumbnails at the case level can be switched to grayscale mode by clicking the 3-dot menu to the top right of the list of files, and then selecting "Grayscale thumbnails."

Once this has been selected, all of the thumbnails for your photo evidence will appear in grayscale across all of your cases, in both list view and grid view until you decide to turn it off.

If you only enable grayscale mode for your thumbnails, each time you click on the files to open the photos in Guardify, they will still appear in color. If you would like to have your full size photo evidence appear in grayscale as well, you can click the "grayscale" toggle at the top right of the photo window, and all of your photos will appear in grayscale in all cases until you opt to disable the grayscale setting.
