Pro: Making share requests

You can make two different types of requests on cases that have been shared with you:

  1. You can request to have access to a case for a longer period of time,

  2. You can request to share a case on with another user within Guardify.

All requests are sent to the administrator of the case to be approved, modified, or declined.

Request Share Extension allows a user to request to have a case shared with them for a longer period of time.

To make this request, click into a case and find the share expires date at the top right of the case file. Click the 3-dot menu.

Click Request Share Extension.

Type in the date that you would like to request your share to be extended to, as well as a reason for the request.

Click Request at the bottom.

Share allows a user to request to have a case shared with another user.

To make this request, click into a case and click Share at the top right of the case file.

Type the user’s email address and click Next.

Type in the date that you would like this share to expire for that user, as well as a reason for the share request.

Click Request at the bottom.
