Pro: Renaming files

Users with custodianship or admin access to a case have the ability to rename files within Guardify.

Note: If you are a case admin you will only be able to rename files that you uploaded.

Renaming files can be done in the 'upload settings' step of creating the case or after the case has been created. To rename a file while in the 'upload settings' step of creation, click the 3-dot menu on the far right of the file, and click rename.

Once the file has been renamed, click save.

To rename a file after the case has been created, click into the case, find the file you want to rename, click the 3-dot menu on the far right of the file, and rename.

Once the file has been renamed, click save.

You can also rename files after a case has been created by clicking the gear icon to return back to the 'upload settings' step of creating a case.

Note: When files that have been renamed are downloaded, the file names appear as the renamed file. Managers have the ability to download files with the original filenames. Simply toggle on the 'Original Filenames' toggle when creating a download package.
