LE: Case Notes

When working on a case in Guardify, users will have access to a notes tab, located in the right hand sidebar of a case.

All users will have access to "My Notes" which will allow them to take private notes on their cases. These notes are saved in the notes field even if a user closes the case and logs out of Guardify. These are private notes that are only visible to the person who took the notes. They are never shared with another user, regardless of who has access to the case.

Users who have access to the case with the "Prosecution" user role will have the ability to switch between “My Notes” and “Case Notes” from the notes section.

Case Notes are a collaborative section for case-specific notes that can be accessed by any prosecution users who have been given access to that case.

Individual notes can be left by multiple users. Each note is marked with the name of the user who left it, and a time stamp.

Users are able to delete their own notes that they’ve left on a case after they have been sent by hovering over the note, and clicking the 3-dot menu. Users are only able to delete their own notes and cannot delete notes left by other users.

All notes are saved in the notes field even if a user closes the case and logs out of Guardify.
