Submitting A Case For Review
When a case is ready for review in Guardify, a user can submit a case for review to another user in their agency.
To submit a case for review, open the case and click “review” at the top right of the screen.
This will open a pop up box that says "request case review." here, the user can select the user they would like to have review the case, as well as enter a note to go along with the request.
Clicking request will submit this case for review to the user that was selected.
A status will be added to the case that says "ready for review."
Once a case has been reviewed by the person it was sent to be reviewed by, the submitting user will receive an email letting them know the case has been reviewed.
If approved, the status of the case will change to "approved."
If declined, the status of the case will change to "declined" and provide a reason for why it was declined.
The user can then adjust the case as needed, and then resubmit the case for review and start the review process over.
Reviewing A Case
Once a case review request has been submitted, the user who was selected to review the case will get an email notifying them that a request has been received. This request will also appear in the user's messages tab under "requests."
This request can be approved or declined from this request screen, or the user can click "review case" to be taken directly to the case to review it.
This will give the user the option to "approve" or "decline" the case at the top of the case details.
Approving the case will change the status of the request to "approved."
Clicking "approve & transfer" will allow the user to transfer the case to a new owner, as well as change the status of the request to "approved."
If the user reviews the case and decides it is not ready, clicking "decline" will give the user the option to add a reason for declining the request.
This will then change the status of the case to "declined" and notify the requesting user that their request was declined.
They can then reassess the case and then submit it for review again once they are ready.
