Once you have files uploaded into your Center Files storage section of your Guardify account, these files can be stored here long term. However, if you would like to be able to share these files with other people or have them be accessed the way your other active interviews are accessed, these files would need to be moved into an interview card in your Interviews list.
Open Center Files
In the left navigation side bar, click Center Files
Locate the video or file you want to move
Scroll or use the search at the top of the page to locate the file you want to move.
Tip: if you have recently uploaded these as a Bulk batch of files, you will have a "Legacy Files" folder at the top of your Center Files page. These files will be in that folder.
Select the file you want to move
Once you have located the file you want to move into an interview card, click the checkbox to the left of the file name.
Click MOVE
Once you select the file you want to move, a purple MOVE button will appear at the top right of the screen. Click this button.
Choose the destination of the interview
Once you click move, a window will appear for you to select what you would like to do with the selected file. Here, you are able to either choose to move the file into an interview card that already exists in your "My Interviews" or "CAC Interviews" lists, or you can click "Create Interview" to move this file into its own brand new interview card.
Moving into an existing interview:
If you choose to move it into an existing interview, select the interview from the list, and then click Next. It will then ask you to confirm the file settings for this video. Make your selections (you can choose to transcribe the video or not) and then click Save.
Moving into a new interview:
If you choose to create a new interview, you will be prompted to fill out the details for the interview, just like you usually would when creating an interview in Guardify. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
Once you have filled out the fields, click next at the bottom right of the screen.
It will then ask you to confirm the file settings for this video. Make your selections (you can choose to transcribe the video or not) and then click Save.
File will begin processing
Once you have moved the file into a new or existing interview, you will get a confirmation message at the bottom of the screen letting you know that the file was successfully moved, and the name of the interview that it was moved into.
The file will then show as "processing" in your Center Files list while the file is processing in its new location, and then will no longer show in this list once it has completed processing.
You can confirm that this file was moved successfully by going to your "Interviews" list and searching for the interview you moved it into. It will show as a processing video inside the interview while it is still processing, and will be streamable once the processing has completed.
