Godo 2-way integration

How GuestJoy exchanges data with Godo

Updated over a week ago

It is now possible to activate 2-way integration with Godo.

This integration allows for GuestJoy to pass two types of data back to Godo:

  1. Check-in data

  2. Guest orders

Check-in data

The data that you collect via GuestJoy's check-in form can now be sent directly to the respective reservation in Godo.

At this stage, the data is sent to the Notes field, however this might change in future.

Additionally, you will see the pre-check-in action on the Info tab:

No special configuration is required by you in GuestJoy to make this happen, however you may wish to review the data you are capturing via the check-in form and see that is collecting everything you require.

GuestJoy will still behave exactly as it did before; when the guest submits their check-in data, an email will still be sent to your property letting you know this happened.

The check-in data will still appear in the guest's profile in GuestJoy as it always did.

Guest orders

When a guest orders something from your GuestJoy Concierge page, this data will automatically be sent back to Godo as a line item on the guest's invoice:

The text shown after the order name is the unique order code used in GuestJoy.

No special configuration is required by you in GuestJoy to make this happen.

GuestJoy will still behave exactly as it did before; when the guest submits their an order, an email will still be sent to your property letting you know this happened. Staff will still nee to mark the offer as confirmed or cancelled in GuestJoy via Guest activity > Orders.

The orders the guest has placed will still appear in the their profile in GuestJoy as it always did.
