Learn how to add an unsubscribe link to your emails - it's fast and easy to do

Updated over a week ago

A critical part of sending marketing emails is making sure they don't get marked as spam.

And, one big way your emails will be marked as spam is if they do not contain a link to unsubscribe from your list.

Fortunately, creating an unsubscribe link is easy to do:

  1. Type some text that will contain your link, eg. "If you no longer want to receive our emails, you can unsubscribe". Apply styling and formatting as usual.

  2. Highlight the word unsubscribe. The formatting toolbar appears.

  3. Click the Link button

  4. Click Special links and select Unsubscribe URL

  5. Click Save and you're done!

Note for customers bound by the GDPR

Not including an unsubscribe link in your emails is a violation of the GDPR; remember, the wording is "It shall be as easy to unsubscribe as it was to subscribe". Similar rules apply in other juristictions, so this is vital.
