What are the benefits of this integration?

With the hotelkit integration, your guest data and interactions from Guestnet are directly linked to your hotel’s internal operations. Guest tasks, requests, or feedback are automatically forwarded to the appropriate departments – without media disruptions and without time delays.

The result: Your team works more focused, faster, and closer to the guest.


Feature Overview

With the hotelkit integration, you can:

  • Automatically transfer guest requests from forms or messages as tasks to hotelkit

    • Forward green options (e.g. cancellation of room cleaning)

    • Transfer room service orders

    • Generate tasks from shop orders (e.g. items from the digital kiosk)

    • Push content from forms into internal hotelkit content pages

  • Automatically sync weekly program information

    • Forward new activity registrations

    • Provide participant overviews before activities start

    • Display capacity status information (e.g. minimum participants reached / not reached, activity fully booked)

  • Transfer SPA requests automatically


How to set up the hotelkit integration

ℹ️ Currently, management systems can only be connected by our Customer Success Team (support@guest.net). A self-service option is currently in development.

The setup is done during the onboarding call. Below is a list of the requirements needed for the connection.

Requirements for integration:

  • A valid hotelkit API key, provided by hotelkit

  • Activation of the Guestnet account by hotelkit via Client ID


FAQ about the hotelkit integration

What data is actually transmitted?

The relevant data from emails is transferred to hotelkit per module. You can view them in the Mail Log. Here's an example of a room service order submission.

Why are tasks not being transmitted?

If this happens, there may be an issue with the interface. Please check if the hotelkit account has been enabled for Guestnet.

Can I deactivate the integration for specific properties?

Yes – each property has its own Guestnet. The hotelkit key determines which property is linked to which hotelkit account.
