Introduction – Why use the daily news as a destination?
Destinations can create a daily news based on content already available in Guestnet and automatically make it available daily to their member hotels. The delivery is carried out directly through the integrated Guestnet system.

Under "Documents," all published issues of the daily news post are listed.
The "Downloads" column shows how many hotels have downloaded the specific daily news.
Clicking on a number in the "Downloads" column displays a list of the hotels that have downloaded that daily news.

Under "Delivery," all hotels with a Guestnet connected to the destination’s Guestnet are listed. Here, delivery can also be disabled for specific businesses.

Why is the destination’s daily news not visible in the guest view of a hotel?
The daily news module is not automatically inherited by connected Guestnets. If the daily news is published in the guest view of the destination, this box is not automatically visible in the guest view of the Guestnet of member businesses. To enable this, a content page can be created that links to the daily news module. This content page can be hidden in the destination’s Guestnet and instead be used for display in the Guestnets of the member businesses.

The sending of the daily news depends on the time of publication:
Publication by 3:00 PM: sent the same day at 3:00 PM
Publication by 5:00 PM: sent the same day at 5:00 PM
Publication after 5:00 PM: sent the next day at 7:00 AM
