Introduction – What does this module do for me?
The Photo Gallery module helps you present visual content in a professional and seasonally appropriate way – directly integrated into your Guestnet platform. This allows you to provide guests with up-to-date impressions of your property at any time – whether in summer, winter, or on special occasions.
Feature Overview
The following features are available in the Photo Gallery module:
Custom albums with title, description, date, and source
Time-based visibility control (e.g., for seasonal albums)
Drag-and-drop sorting of images and entries
Cover image defined by the first position in the album
Show or hide albums without data loss
Optional display of logo on images
How to set up the Photo Gallery module
Open the Modules > Photo Gallery section in the backend
Click “New Entry” in the top right corner to create a new album
Enter the general information: title, description, date, source (optional)
If needed, define a visible period for the album (e.g., winter)
Click “Save” to proceed to the upload section
Upload images and add a description to each one if needed
Arrange the images by dragging and dropping them – the first image will be shown as the cover
Entry sorting can be set to custom or by date – this can be configured in the Settings
The logo display on images can also be toggled on or off via Settings

No, published albums are visible to all guests – regardless of login status.

Can I temporarily hide an album?
Yes. You can deactivate an album using the switch under “Published” and reactivate it at any time – without data loss.
How do I change the order of entries or images?
How do I change the order of entries or images?
Entries in the photo gallery can be rearranged via drag-and-drop – simply click and hold the three dots on the left, then move the entry to the desired position. Within an album, images are sorted the same way.

Deactivated albums are not visible to guests but remain fully saved and can be reactivated at any time.
