How to set up the Wine List module

  1. Open the section Guestapp > Wine List in the backend.

  2. Create categories (e.g. red wine, white wine).
To create categories, go to the “Wine List” module and click the “Category” button at the top.

    Add categories in each language
You can then create a custom category in each language, and a specific ID will be generated automatically.

  3. Create a new wine entry & Fill in wine details
To create a new entry, go to the “Wine List” module and click on “New Entry” in the top right.

You can add a title, description, and image for the wine. On the right-hand side, additional details can be provided, such as year, winery, style, etc.
Important: All this information must be entered in the respective languages, otherwise they will not be visible in that language.

  4. Adjust display settings
Under Settings (still in the Wine List module), you can choose whether wines are displayed with or without images.
If you want the wines to be displayed with images, you can check the box under Settings:

  5. Add more wines as needed
If you want to create similar wine entries where only the quantity and the price differ, you can copy the already created wine entry and make the necessary changes.
    To do so, click on:
"Wine List", then on the corresponding entry click the "Copy" icon.
After editing, click on "Save" to save the edited entry.

  6. Deactivate entries if needed
To hide an entry from guests, you can simply deactivate it.
    Click on:
"Wine List", then click the button under "Published" for the desired entry:

    • Green icon = visible to guests

    • White icon = not visible
Advantage: The entry can be reactivated at any time without recreating it.

  7. Reorder wines and categories
Saved entries can be rearranged freely.
Click on "Wine List", then click and drag the dark gray boxes on the left of the entry to move it to the desired position.

  8. Import wine list via Excel
It is also possible to import your wines using an Excel file.
    Steps:

    • Go to Guestapp > Wine List

    • Click on Import in the top right

    • Download the template

    • Fill out the template exactly as described, and do not change any columns
