Introduction – What does this module do for me?
The Gastronomy module helps you clearly display gastronomic establishments and offers on your Guestnet platform. Guests receive up-to-date information about opening hours, descriptions, locations, and more – digitally and optimized for mobile use.
Function overview
These functions are available in the Gastronomy module:
Automatic synchronization with TICWEB (if an interface is connected)
Manual creation, editing, and deactivation of entries
Visibility control of individual gastronomy entries
Display of opening hours, description, location, and category
Guest preview for better control
GDPR-compliant, mobile-optimized, filterable by category
How to set up the Gastronomy module
In the backend, open the section Guestapp > Gastronomy
To create a new entry, click on “New entry” at the top right
Fill in the fields (name, description, category, location, opening hours, etc.)
Click on “Save” to save the entry
Activate or deactivate entries using the switch under “Published”
Manually created entries can be edited at any time using the “Edit” icon
The entry then appears as follows in the guest view:

What should I do if opening hours are displayed incorrectly?

If an entry appears as open in Guestnet even though it is marked as closed in TICWEB, this is usually due to overlapping time periods in TICWEB. Please ensure that “Open” and “Closed” periods in TICWEB do not overlap.
Can I deactivate entries without deleting them?

Yes. In Guestapp > Gastronomy, click the switch under “Published”.
– Green: Entry is visible to guests
– White: Entry is hidden but can be reactivated at any time
Can only manually created entries be edited?
Can only manually created entries be edited?
Yes. Entries that do not come from an interface (e.g., TICWEB or TVB) can be edited at any time. To do so, click on “Edit” and then on “Save”.
