Introduction – What does this module bring me?

The Drink Menu module helps you present your drinks digitally and clearly for your guests. It provides a modern, contactless experience – directly integrated into your Guestnet platform.

Function overview

These functions are available in the Drink Menu module:

  • Create categories in different languages

  • Add drinks with detailed information (e.g., year, winery, style)

  • Copy entries for similar drinks with differing quantity or price

  • Change the order of entries via drag & drop

  • Deactivate entries to hide unavailable drinks

How to set up the Drink Menu module

  1. Open the backend area Guestapp > Drink Menu

  2. Create category:
    Click the Category button at the top.

    Create the category in the desired languages.

  3. Add drink:
    Click New Entry at the top right.

    Enter title and description.
    Add further details such as year, winery, and style.
    All texts can be entered in different languages.
    On your Guestnet page, the drinks will then be displayed as follows:

  4. Copy entry:
    If you want to create similar entries, click the Copy icon on the corresponding drink, adjust the data, and save.

  5. Change order:
    Drag saved entries to the desired position via drag & drop.

  6. Deactivate drink:
    To temporarily hide a drink, click the icon under Published. Green means visible, white means hidden.

FAQ about the module

Does the guest need to be logged in to use the module?

No, the drink menu is freely accessible to guests.

Note: If the main menu is configured to restrict access to the “My Stay” section to logged-in guests only, this section will be visible exclusively to authenticated users.

Can I deactivate the module for certain locations?

Yes, under "Location Management" you can assign modules individually.

Are the data saved?

Yes, all entries remain saved in the backend and can be edited or reactivated at any time.
