Introduction – What does this module bring me?

The Hotel Information module helps you provide important information for your guests clearly and digitally – directly within your Guestnet. Your guests find everything they need at a glance: check-in times, meal times, wellness offers, and much more – mobile optimized, multilingual, and always up to date.


Feature Overview

These features are available in the Hotel Information module:

  • Structure main information individually (e.g., “Check-in times,” “Culinary,” “Wellness”)

  • Create unlimited categories and sub-items

  • Multilingual content with text, images, and PDF files

  • Drag & Drop for easy sorting

  • Deactivate individual entries without deleting them


How to set up the Hotel Information module

  1. Open the backend in the area Guestapp > Hotel Information

  2. Click in the top right on “Main Information” to define the main sections (e.g., Food, Wellness):

    • Add new main information or edit existing ones

    • Sub-items like breakfast, lunch, dinner can be added with times

  3. Click on “+ new category” to define additional areas (e.g., Regional Tips, FAQ)

  4. Create individual content under “New Entry”:

    • Insert texts per language

    • Add images or PDFs (optional)

    • Formatting such as bold, italic, tables, etc. is possible

  5. Assign the entry to the appropriate category

  6. Save the entry – it will then appear under the corresponding main information


FAQ about the module

Does the guest need to be logged in to use the module?

No, all information is visible without login.

Note: If the main menu is configured to restrict access to the “My Stay” section to logged-in guests only, this section will be visible exclusively to authenticated users.

Can categories be sorted individually?

Yes, drag & drop allows free sorting of categories and entries.

Can entries be temporarily hidden?

Yes, the “Published” switch allows content to be deactivated and reactivated at any time.

Are multilingual entries possible?

Yes, texts in multiple languages can be managed for each entry.
