Introduction – What does this module bring me?

The WhatsApp module helps you enable direct and familiar communication with your guests – via one of the most widely used messengers worldwide.
It provides a modern, contactless guest experience – directly integrated into your Guestnet platform.

  • Integration of a WhatsApp chat button in the quick menu

  • Linking with your WhatsApp Business number

  • Instant contact without login

  • Positioning the button in the menu via drag & drop

(Optional: GDPR-compliant through opt-in before chat start, mobile optimization via responsive design)


How to set up the WhatsApp module

  1. Open the Master data section in the backend

  2. Enter your WhatsApp number
    Note: Enter only the country code without 00 or + (e.g., 491701234567 for Germany)

  3. Go to Edit main menu

  4. Activate the WhatsApp button in the Quick menu area (green toggle)

  5. Place the button by drag & drop at the desired position in the menu


FAQ about the module

Does the guest need to be logged in to use the WhatsApp button?

No, access is possible without login. The redirection goes directly to WhatsApp.

Can I hide the WhatsApp button if I don’t use it?

Yes, simply deactivate it in the Edit main menu > Quick menu area.

Are chat contents saved in Guestnet?

No, all chats take place directly in WhatsApp and are accessible there – not in Guestnet.
