Introduction – What is the benefit of a program loop?
A program loop helps You to centrally manage content for Your guests and to display it automatically on various screens such as info screens, touchscreens or room TVs.
Function Overview
The following functions are available in the Program Loop module:
Create and manage program loops with different sequences
Individual design with modules such as YouTube, weather, daily menu, events, image galleries
Adaptation to screen formats (portrait or landscape)
Integration of music, background images, and custom content
Flexible control of duration, order, and visibility of individual content
GDPR-compliant and fully integrated into Guestnet
Compatible with BrightSign devices and modular hardware setup
How to set up the Program Loop module
Create a new program loop
Navigate in the backend to Communication > TV
Click on “New Entry”
Assign an internal name, choose portrait or landscape format
Add sequences – each sequence can have a title, modules, and its own settings
Click Save
Add content to sequences
Edit the desired sequence via the pencil icon.
Select the segmentation of the page.
After that, each section of the page can be configured.
For each sequence, You can choose the following content types:
YouTube video & directly saved video (with or without sound – but not at the same time as music)
Gallery or image
Webcam/livecam
Weather (3 display options)
Wellness & beauty
Daily menu and daily/weekly program with numerous layout options
Events from the region (slide, list, grid)
Sports & activities incl. ski lifts, cross-country trails, slopes
POIs / From the surroundings
Gastronomy
Lists of all ski lifts, ski slopes, and cross-country trails
Cross-country and ski area overview
Custom content with formatting options
Social Wall
Background music (MP3 upload) can also be added, if desired.
Use screen URL
Under TV > Manage screens You will find the URL of each screen
This URL is handed over to the technician or used for preview

Yes, with the segmentation of a sequence into up to four tiles, multiple modules can be displayed in parallel.

Yes. For Full HD screens (1920x1080 px), images should have exactly this resolution.

Modulator (for Room TV)
This device converts HDMI into a terrestrial digital signal and feeds it into the antenna. For terrestrial signals, two resolutions are distinguished: SD MPEG-2 (standard definition, typically for older devices) and HD MPEG-4 (high definition for newer devices). For devices with different resolutions, one modulator per resolution is recommended.
