When publishing a mobile application, there are 3 types with which you can go through the App Store and Play Market moderation.

1) Free application - non-commercial distribution of content (free), that is, your content will be available to everyone who downloaded, registered, and installed the mobile application. You cannot sell/restrict access. There should be no sites mentioning content and its price. The moderation service can easily verify it.

Violation = denial of moderation or application ban if found after moderation.

Registration - Facebook, Google, Apple, Email

Login - Facebook, Google, Apple, Email

2) Commercial application - selling content with access to a mobile application. Suppose on the Internet, on a website, or on a landing page, and your client has the opportunity to pay for your content. In that case, the same opportunity must be provided to the client in the application through In-App purchases (Built-in Apple and Google payment system), these payments will be subject to a 15% commission from January 2021, provided that your turnover is not more than $ 1 million per year. You can sell access to the application as a whole, as well as individual content. Both by subscription (monthly auto payments) and a one-time payment.

It is forbidden to advertise or invite customers to go from the application and buy on the site while avoiding Apple and Google's commission.

Violation = denial of moderation or application ban if found after moderation.

Example: Customer 1 came to the site from advertising and bought on the site by acquiring the payment system. He received a letter with login/access to the application and the personal account in the browser. He has downloaded the application, and the purchased content is available to him. You don't need to pay a 15% commission to Apple and Google.

Customer 2 immediately came to the mobile application, having heard from a friend, and bought the same content inside; the content immediately became available to him both in the application and in the LC in the browser. Apple and Google will withhold 15% commission (effective January 1, 2021).

Customer 1 liked the purchased content so much that he decided to buy another one, but not on the website, but in the mobile application where he studied. Now from its purchase, there will also be a deducted 15% commission from Apple and Google.

Registration - Facebook, Google, Apple, Email

Login - Facebook, Google, Apple, Email

3) Reader application - access to closed content. The application is an electronic textbook, a base of additional materials offered to the client and the main service.

Example:

- Fitness studio/club with an offline subscription provides all club members with access to video workouts.

- A coach with training for corporate clients accepts payment under an agreement from a legal entity (by bank transfer), and only employees of the organization of the customer of the training have access to the application.

- Tutor/school/university uploads materials to the app, and access are only given to students.

- Conference organizers sell tickets for participation in viewing the conference on a separate website and upload additional materials, schedule, chat for participants to the mobile application.
