Coupons and discounts are great tools to attract new clients to your products. Gurucan can provide you the opportunity to add promo codes and coupons. Let's observe how to do that. There are several simple steps:
STEP 1. In your Admin panel, go to the Marketing section - Coupons tab.
STEP 2. Press on Create a new coupon button.
STEP 3. Now, let's fill in all the required fields
Coupon name - type the name of your discount. It will not be visible to your users.
You can't use signs # % \ / ?
Coupon code - write the code itself that users will use to get a discount. If you leave the field empty, the code will be generated automatically.
Discount type: choose the Percent or Amount.
If you choose Percent, fill in the needed number in the right field.
2. If you choose the Amount, firstly select the Offer's currency that you want this code to apply to and enter the amount in this currency.
Notes:
❓ If the promo code's currency and Offer's currency are different, the code won't work.
❓ If the amount of discount is bigger than the amount of offer, your students will have the access to such offer for free and the extra discount that is left will be lost.
Start date - until this date, your code will be inactive, and students won't be able to use it.
End date - you can set the code to be active till then or leave this field empty, and the code will be active forever.
Attach your code to a specific Offer. Your student will be able to activate only there.
STEP 4. Save and Publish your coupon.
It's done and shown on the main page with all the general information. 👍🏻
STEP 5. Time to test the code!
We recommend copying the link of your Offer and opening it in the Incognito mode of your browser.
Once your code is published, there will appear a special field for entering the code.
When the code is filled in, the price will reduce, and your students can easily proceed with the payment. That's all! 😉
