After processing and issuing your company’s EIN, the IRS will send your EIN confirmation letter (also called CP 575) to the mailing address listed on your Form SS-4. It may take several weeks to receive this letter after the EIN has been issued electronically. Many banks and vendors may ask you to provide this confirmation letter in order to do business with your company.

For customers who incorporate after May 15 2020 Gust also captures a screenshot of your electronic EIN confirmation, which can be found in your Company Information section of your Launch account.

Companies can request a replacement confirmation letter (called 147C letter) be faxed to them by calling the IRS at (800) 829-4933. An authorized member of the company must make the request. Gust Launch is unable to request a replacement EIN confirmation letter on a company’s behalf.
