Thank you to everyone who has used Gyana up until this point, it is with great regret that we are announcing the closing of the company but we are sincerely grateful for all the contribution all of our users have made!

In order to make sure that you are able to transition from Gyana as easily as possible we have written this article with clear steps on what to do next. We want to make sure that you are able to migrate your existing workflow with the best experience possible.

So what happens now?

Manually Pause Integration Syncs

The company will officially shutdown on 21st July 2022, up until then the product will operate business as usual. This means that any connected data sources will still have a daily sync and you can continue to create workflows and dashboards. However in preparation for the company shutdown we advise that you start preparing your data migration at least 2 weeks prior to the shutdown to ensure that the transition is as seamless as possible. This starts by manually pausing your data connectors to ensure that there is no interruption when migrating your data.

Export Workflow Tables

All the hard work you've put into creating your unique insights won't go to waste as you can export your output table for each workflow created. Each node has a download icon in the edit mode, this will export the table directly to your account email as a csv file. We advise you to do this for each completed workflow so that you can easily upload these tables into an alternative BI/analytics tool (suggestions will provided in the guide).

Export Dashboards

You will still be able to share and view your dashboards via the unique URL link up until the app shuts down. However if you would still want access to the dashboard beyond this then we suggest taking a screengrab of your dashboards. This ensures that you still have the historical data and it can be used to help replicate in alternative tools.

Erase your data (optional)

Once the company is no longer active your data will be permanently erased from our platform, however for those who feel more comfortable erasing the data before the shut down then we suggest manually deleting all of your existing connectors, workflows and dashboards after you have successfully exported and migrated your data.

Alternative tool suggestions

We want you to continue to be empowered by your data and so we have some suggestions of alternative tools you can use to achieve the same powerful insights and dashboards.
