Why Set Up Your Calendar?
Connecting your calendar allows the Gyde AI Renewal Assistant to schedule meetings around your availability. Set the length of meetings, time between meetings, and windows of time available.
Step 1: Connect Your Calendar
Click Connect your calendar.
Your information will remain private. Gyde sees the blocks of time that are busy on your calendar and schedules meetings during open times.
Step 2: Choose Your Calendar Provider
After clicking Connect your calendar, select your personal Calendar platform.
Click Continue with Google for Google Calendar.
Click Continue with iCloud for iCal.
Click Continue with Microsoft for Outlook.
If you don’t see your platform, click View all providers for a full list of supported options.
Log in to your external Calendar account.
Step 3: Grant Access to Your Calendar
Grant Gyde permission to access your calendar through our partner, Nylas.com. Click “Continue” to proceed.
Confirm you are signed into the correct Calendar account.
Review the permissions requested. These allow Gyde to securely check your availability and schedule appointments on your behalf.
Click Continue or Allow, depending on your Calendar platform, to authorize access and complete the connection for your calendar.
Step 4: Confirm Your Calendar is Connected
Once your calendar is successfully linked, you’ll see a confirmation screen showing your connected account.
The status will display Connected next to your email.
If needed, you can click Reconnect to update or switch calendars.
Click Next to configure your meeting settings.
Wrapping Up
Your calendar is now successfully connected to Gyde! This ensures the Gyde AI agent can see your availability and schedule meetings with clients on your behalf.
Next, you’ll want to finish configuring your meeting preferences, including your open hours, line of business (LOB) availability, and scheduling rules, so clients are booked at the right times.
