What is Gymlib's commitment to data confidentiality?

The European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on May 25 2018 and has impacted the way companies collect and store personal data. Gymlib welcomes this opportunity and is committed to protecting the personal data used in our databases and in the products you benefit from. Gymlib ensures that we, our customers and our suppliers fulfill our obligations regarding this data.

What is GDPR?

GDPR is a privacy law that harmonises and modernizes the data protection requirements of all countries in the EU and is designed to improve the way organizations process personal data. This is a law aimed at protecting the rights of natural persons on the territory of the EU.

Although there are many new requirements and some are being tightened up, the basic principles remain unchanged. New rules have significantly broadened the definition of personal data, as well as its scope to include all companies, even those based outside the European Union, when collecting personal information about natural persons residing in Europe. Our position, our obligations and our responsibilities to you are set out in the confidentiality and data protection statements available on this site.
