When someone adds you to a session, you get a phone call, a text message, and an email, each carrying a link to the session. Click the link and you are in. This article covers what happens after the click for every type of user, plus how credentialed users join without an invite.
The invitations come from H2Safety's four outbound numbers. Save them as contacts so the call does not look like spam.
Join from the invite link
Open the text message or email and click the session link. The original invite keeps working for the life of the session, so you can use it to re-enter later.
What happens next depends on your account:
No H2CommandCentre account (non-credentialed): you complete two-factor authentication. Click Send Code, grab the verification code from your SMS and email, enter it, and you land in the session.
Credentialed, Microsoft account: sign in when prompted. If your credentials are saved in the browser, you go straight to the session.
Credentialed, non-Microsoft account: complete a verification step. It stays valid for 24 hours, so within that window you re-enter without verifying again.

Join from inside H2CommandCentre
Credentialed users can skip the invite link entirely.
In VEOC (Virtual Emergency Operations Centre):
Click VEOC from the dashboard.
Search by session name, date initiated, last activity, initiator, or session type.
Click Join Session. The session dashboard opens.
In COP+ (Common Operating Picture):
Click COP+ from the dashboard.
Click Join Session. The Active Sessions window appears.
Click Open beside the session you want. The map view opens.
Joined as an Observer?
Invitees can be added as users or as Observers. Observers can watch but cannot send notifications or use system features. If you need to act and cannot, ask the session initiator to change your role.
