Joining a challenge in Habitify is a straightforward process. Depending on the privacy option the challenge host chooses, two types of challenges are available: Public and Private.

The Public challenge is hosted by Habitify or anyone who creates it and sets it as a public challenge.

Tap the "Join this Challenge" button to join a public challenge. Public challenges are open to everyone, and you can immediately become a participant by clicking this button.

A private challenge is created by one of the users of Habitify, who set it as private. To join a private challenge, you must request approval or get an invitation from the host.

Tap the "Request to Join" button to send an enrollment request proactively. The challenge host will review your request and decide whether to approve or deny it. Once approved, you will be added to the private challenge.

Habitify has set a limit on enrollment in a challenge to maintain its freshness and engagement. After the challenge starts, enrollment will be cut off after 3 days from the start date. This means that participants can join the challenge within the first three days of its commencement.

By limiting enrollment after this period, Habitify ensures that challenges have an active and engaged group of participants who can support and motivate each other throughout the suitable challenge duration.

We don't have a button to leave a challenge yet. Since we aim to encourage high commitment when joining a challenge, let's keep it up. You may successfully build the habit.

In case you don't want to do the Challenge anymore, just leave it undone for 3 days. The Challenge will be marked as Failed and removed from your active Challenge list.
