Creating your challenge in Habitify is a fun and customizable process. You can decide on various details, rules, and privacy options as a challenge host. Here's how you can create your challenge:
Step 1: Get started
Tap the "Host Your Own Challenge" option on the Explore screen in the Habitify app.
You have two options for creating a challenge:
a. Choose from the challenge ideas provided by Habitify.
b. Create a new challenge from scratch by defining all the details yourself.
Step 2: Give details
Add a name to your challenge to let participants know what habit they will build together.
Write a description that gives more context and information about the challenge.
Choose a cover for your challenge to make it more appealing.
Step 4: Set privacy
Decide on the privacy options for your challenge:
Host-Only: Only the challenge host, you, can invite new members.
Any Participant: Any participant can invite new members without your approval
Step 5: Set Challenge Rules
As a host, you have control over the 4 challenge rules:
Goals: Define the daily amount of the habit with your preferred unit type (e.g., number of pages read, minutes of meditation, distance run).
Repetition: Choose which days of the week participants should complete the habit.
Skip Allowed: Specify the total number of skips a user can have during the challenge duration. The maximum is 5 times.
Duration: Set a start date and end date for the challenge.
