In this update version 12.3.3, our Developers focus on fixing the minor bugs found in the Android app.
1. Date & Time syncing error on the logs synced from Google Fit
Lately, in version 12.3.1, we received some reports from our users complaining that their data was synced with the wrong date & time when viewing in the app. Our Developers tested the feature again and recognized the root cause is an issue related to timezone. They fixed this bug in the new version 12.3.2.
2. Improve the work of the Timer when the app is off-screen
In version 12.3.1, we also noticed that the Timer would stop running when the app is off-screen (running background or running when the screen is locked). We checked the root cause and fixed it.
We made some improvements as well. Normally, when you let the app run in the background with the Timer running a session, you will see a push notification that tells you when the session will end. The new thing here is that this push notification will stick on the notification center unless you open the app and let the Timer be on screen. In addition, you always see the Timer screen first if you are running a Timer session, even when you tap a widget to view the single progress of a habit or to open the Journal view.
This is how we can protect your progress with Timer in this new version.
3. Fix the UI bug of showing streaks and date & time on devices running Android 13.
If you are using Android 13, you might see this UI bug on your Journal view or Single Progress view:
This error was first found on Pixel devices and gradually appeared on Android devices with Android 13. We improved the work of the UI in this new version.
4. Fix the bug of the feature not working with the Privacy Lock
With the old version of the Android app, we also received reports on the bug with the Privacy Lock from our Android users. Below is the description of the case that we checked and fixed the issue on:
The user enables the Settings tab > Privacy Lock
The user lets the app run in the background. Each time user opens the app, the privacy lock works
The user closes the app completely. The privacy lock doesn't work wheclosesuser opens the app and loads the Journal view.
There is another case that the user taps on the widget to open the app. On some devices, the Privacy Lock doesn't work in this way to open the app. Our Developers haven't fixed the issue in this case yet. We are so sorry if this causes you any inconvenience!
