Habitify offers a seamless integration feature, allowing you to sync your habits directly with your calendar. This helps you stay organized and never miss out on your important routines. I'd like to walk through the process step by step.
Habitify will connect and sync habit events to Google Calendar on Android devices.
on iOS devices, Habitify will connect and sync habit events to Apple Calendar.
Enable synchronization
To sync your habits with your calendar, follow these steps:
Open the app and go to the Settings tab.
Look for the "Integration" category and tap on "Sync with Calendar" (on Android) or "Apple Calendar" (on iOS).
Turn on the synchronization by toggling the button.
You can exclude some of your habits to prevent them from syncing to the calendar.
Syncing mode
There are 2 modes of syncing your habits as events in Calendar:
All-Day Events simplifies your calendar by condensing each habit into daily events. It's perfect for a quick overview of your daily habits without cluttering your schedule.
Based on Reminder Time breaks down each habit into individual events, respecting the specific reminder times you've set. However, if you have multiple reminders for a habit, you may see numerous events for that habit in your calendar.
Details about habit events
In the syncing mode "Based on Reminder Time", each reminder of your habit results in one event of that habit in the Calendar. Each event is 15 minutes long. You can adjust the length. Remember to save it for "All future events" when saving the change.
There's no syncing of check-in between Habitify and Calendar. Therefore, it may happen that your habit is completed but the Calendar still sends the reminders.
