Important Update

Due to recent changes in Google Play Store policies regarding health data access, we must remove the Health Connect integration feature. This means Habitify will no longer sync with health-related data on Android devices.

While this change wasn't our preference, we must comply with Google Play's platform requirements to continue serving our Android users. We understand this may impact some of your tracking workflows, and we appreciate your understanding as we make these necessary adjustments.

You may question

Q: When will this change take effect?

A: The change will be implemented in our update version 13.1.7. Please ensure you've saved any important health-related data before updating the app.

Q: Will I lose my existing habit data?

A: No. All your existing habits and tracking data within Habitify will remain unchanged. Only the automatic syncing with health data will be affected.

Q: How can I track my health-related habits now?

A: You can continue tracking health-related habits by manually logging them within Habitify. Create a habit and update your progress directly in the app.

Q: Will this feature return in the future?

A: While we can't make any specific promises, we're always working to improve Habitify within the bounds of platform policies. We'll keep our users informed of any new features or changes through our regular app updates.

Health Connect is an app for storing and sharing health data from multiple apps and devices on the user's mobile device. That data includes Google Fit.

Based on the permissions you choose, apps send data to Health Connect, which then stores data on your device and makes it available to other applications. This gives each connected app a better grasp of your health and wellness needs at any given time.

Install Health Connect

Health Connect might be installed by default by your phone seller. In case it is not, you can go to the Health Connect link on the Play Store to download and install it.

Connect your apps with Health Connect

If you are using another app to track your activity data, you need to connect it with Health Connect before having your data synced to Habitify.

Follow this guide:

  1. On your device, open the Health Connect app.

  2. Tap App permissions.

  3. Turn on apps that you want to sync with Health Connect.

  4. Select data permissions that you want to share.

  5. Tap Allow.

Create a habit synced data from Health Connect

  • Tap "+" on the date bar and choose "Create Good Habit."

  • In the list of habit templates, choose one habit template with the ♥️ icon.

  • Set Repeat, Time of Day, Reminders, and Start Date as usual. Read more.

We recommend the start date is no sooner than 1 year from the day you add the habit to ensure stable synchronization.

  • In Goal, change the units until you see another option of logging method as "Sync with health connects". Choose the options. then tap Save.

  • Tap "Save" to save the new habit.

Returning to the Journal view, you may see your habit connected to sync with Health data will be marked with the ♥️ icon. It may have already been syncing some data from your Health app.
